Privacy Principles
At ManyHandsCare, we believe in three absolutes:
  • Your data are your data. We do everything we can to keep your data private and safe.
  • The product is the product. Our focus is on building the best product possible, and selling your information is not consistent with that goal.
  • Our community is our community. You help make ManyHandsCare what it is, and we take our responsibility to you seriously.
What we do at ManyHandsCare
ManyHandsCare is a mobile and web application designed to help with eldercare. As our loved ones age, they will likely meet two milestones. The first is the time at which they begin to need some help with daily activities. This can be as simple as having someone help them mow the lawn or getting the mail. The second milestone is when they need enough help to require moving into assisted living. ManyHandsCare helps push the second milestone into the future, maximizing the time between these two points.
ManyHandsCare does this by providing a single source of information related to an aging loved one. This includes calendaring (to track appointments and events), task management, messaging, notes, official state documents related to care permissions, and reminders. As you enter such information into ManyHandsCare, it will be shared with other members of the account/Crew, and other members may edit/delete/comment on your entries depending on their access rights.
When you use ManyHandsCare, such information is stored in our servers. Please review the full Privacy Policy, which is summarized here.
How we collect information
There are three main ways we get information about you.
First, we get information that you choose to provide to us. For example, when you sign up for ManyHandsCare, we learn your name and email address.
Second, we learn about you when you use our service. Your use might suggest your region via IP address, for example, and we may use this information to help support regional preferences.
Third, we may learn about you from other people and services. One example scenario where this may happen is if you are using the ManyHandsCare mobile app, and the operating system developer shares information about you with us.
For more information on the information we collect, see our Privacy Policy.
